  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning and other spices. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then add heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses along with additional Cajun seasoning until thickened. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Combine cooked penne and seared steak tips into the sauce until well-coated. Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley.
