  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  2. Mix softened butter with minced garlic; spread on the cut sides of the bread.
