  • Basmati or jasmine rice
  • Water

  1. Rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water until clear. In a pot, combine rinsed rice with 2 cups water and a pinch of salt. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
